- Costs for the entrance exam
The entrance exam costs are set each year by the Board of Directors of the Ecole Centrale de Lille. For the 2012/2013 academic year, the fee for this entrance exam is 60 Euros.
Those candidates who received a national scholarship for high school or higher education are exempt from entrance exam costs if they can provide official notification of the scholarship for the current year.
- Tuition costs:
Iteem is a public engineering school. Tuition fees are set by the French government. For the 2011/2012 academic year, Iteem tuition costs were 584 Euros plus 203 Euros for national health coverage (for students over the age of 20 during the school year).

- In order to qualify, a student must be 28 by the 1st of October of the current academic year and follow a curriculum that can accept students on scholarship. Iteem (a department of the Ecole Centrale de Lille) does accept scholarship students.
- The criteria for determining scholarship eligibility are household income (as defined for tax purposes), the number of dependent children in the family, and the distance of the site of study from the household.

There are other types of financial aid that can help students pursue higher education. Some are managed by CROUS centres (Centre Régional des Oeuvres Universitaires et Scolaires – Regional Centres for University and Scholastic Activities).
